Report for August 2025
August was a non-stop month for our team. We undertook a series of important trips to the Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv and Donetsk regions to personally deliver essential equipment, specialist supplies and provisions directly into the hands of our soldiers. On one such trip, we set off alongside our trusted partners, Shield of Freedom, to see for ourselves how our joint efforts are making a difference on the front line.

The main achievement of the month as part of the #KDtaчки project was the handover of nine vehicles to units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Among them were specially equipped ambulances for emergency evacuation and life-saving operations on the front line, which we were able to provide thanks to our collaboration with our German partners, Fellas for Europe E.V. In addition, thanks to the ongoing support of PUMB Bank, we were able to reinforce the 34th Battalion with a vehicle they desperately needed.

At the same time, we fulfilled various requests for 17 units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (including the 78th Airborne Assault Regiment, 43rd Mechanised Brigade, 2nd Mechanised Battalion of the 116th Mechanised Brigade, 79th Airborne Assault Brigade, 110th Mechanised Brigade, 35th Marine Brigade, the 5th Separate Rifle Brigade, the 92nd Separate Rifle Brigade, the 82nd Separate Rifle Brigade, the 142nd Mechanised Brigade, the 23rd Mechanised Brigade, the 1st Special Operations Brigade, the 406th Airborne Brigade, the International Legion, the 8th Special Forces Brigade, the 15th National Guard Unit, the 42nd Mechanised Brigade and the 53rd Mechanised Brigade). Generators, power banks, specialised paramedic rucksacks, construction tools, fire extinguishers, personal hygiene items, productivity kits, medicines and medical equipment were sent to the front line.

August was also marked by notable charitable and community events. Together with Sevenfit, we organised a major charity workout, which helped to bring the active community together, boost morale and raise funds to meet the military’s immediate needs. The media reported extensively on our activities, particularly highlighting the results of the NGO’s work.
The Kyiv Defenders team and CEO Ivan Koshov also received official letters of thanks from military personnel and a certificate of participation in the national ‘Charitable Ukraine – 2024’ competition in the ‘Charity in Defence of Ukraine’ category.
