Synergy of salvation: Kyiv Defenders and Lviv Region People's Self-Defence

On the front lines, the quality of medical care is not just a matter of comfort, it is a matter of survival. At Kyiv Defenders, we work every day to ensure that our soldiers and paramedics have the best tools to save lives. However, we are convinced that the most significant results are achieved through synergy and joint efforts.

That is why we have combined our resources and logistical capabilities with our partners, the Lviv Region People's Self-Defence. Together, we have carried out a joint mission to provide critically important medical equipment to units located directly in combat zones.

Thanks to the coordinated work of the two teams, fighters on different sections of the front line received vital supplies:

Medical backpacks for paramedics: These are professionally equipped kits that allow combat medics to act quickly and systematically when providing emergency care in the field.

High-quality tourniquets: It is important that defenders have high-quality means of stopping bleeding at their disposal, because the life of a soldier in the ‘golden hour’ depends on their reliability.

For us, this project is more than just a shipment of goods. It is our joint contribution to the medical resilience of the Ukrainian army. We sincerely thank our colleagues from the Lviv Region People's Self-Defence for their trust, professionalism and shared vision of priorities.

When volunteer communities act as a single mechanism, aid arrives faster and its impact becomes more significant. We continue to work to ensure that every medic on the front line has everything they need to fight for the lives of our defenders.
