Kyiv Defenders received the ‘TOP 100 Successful Public Initiatives’ award

December was a very busy month, and in the whirlwind of events, we did not have time to share some good news with you. The Kyiv Defenders public organisation was included in the list of winners of the ‘TOP 100’ selection — a rating of the best initiatives implemented in partnership with the authorities and the community of Kyiv.

The award ceremony was timed to coincide with International Volunteer Day and aimed to honour organisations whose activities have made a significant contribution to the development and security of the capital.

This year, more than 450 applications were submitted to the competition commission. The selection was made among public organisations working in the following areas:

• strengthening defence capabilities and assisting defenders;
• social protection and veteran policy;
• innovative solutions for urban space.

For Kyiv Defenders, this recognition confirms that we are on the right track: providing systematic support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, ensuring the logistics of critically important cargo, and engaging international partners to help Kyiv and the frontline regions.

This award is a credit to every donor, partner, and volunteer who supports our initiatives.
