Kyiv Defenders team at the strategic session: contribution to the development of open government in Kyiv

The Kyiv Defenders team took an active part in the strategic session dedicated to the discussion of the Action Plan within the framework of the international initiative Open Government Partnership. This is a global initiative that Kyiv joined in April 2024, becoming one of 56 new OGP Local partner municipalities.

The session discussed key initiatives aimed at developing the city: improving inclusion, introducing new tools for interaction between city authorities and the community, and supporting veterans and youth. 

The event demonstrates the importance of cooperation between civic activists, authorities and international partners for the development of Kyiv. 

Special thanks to the Kyiv City State Administration and the Department of Public Communications for organising this important event, which contributes to the creation of sustainable urban policies focused on the needs of the community and ensures transparent, inclusive governance.
