Kyiv Defenders participated in the IV Legal Reform Forum for CSOs

30 September 2024

On 13-14 September, Kyiv Defenders' CEO, Ivana Kosheva, attended the IV Legal Reforms Forum for Civil Society Organisations (CSOs). This event, organised with the support of ISAR Ednannia, Tvoia Opora and USAID Ukraine, became an important platform for discussing current legal and organisational changes for CSOs in Ukraine.

The forum discussed key issues related to the development of the public sector, including regulatory reforms and ways to improve the legal framework for volunteer and charitable organisations. Attention was also paid to how civil society can more effectively interact with government agencies and international partners to achieve common goals.

‘We are pleased to meet so many like-minded people who share our socially active position and are ready to work together for the benefit of Ukraine,’ said Iva Koshova.

The forum was a great opportunity to share experiences and establish new connections in the volunteer sector. Kyiv Defenders is grateful to the organisers of the event for providing a platform that allows NGOs to develop, increase their effectiveness and look for new ways to help Ukrainian society.

Together, we are making an important contribution to the present and future of Ukraine by building a transparent and strong civil society.
