Kyiv Defenders participated in the exhibition ‘Here and Now: United for Change.’

In October, Kyiv Defenders became part of the exhibition ‘Here and Now: United for Change.’ Organised by the Department of Public Communications of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA), the exhibition is dedicated to the key role of the public sector and volunteer initiatives in ensuring the stability of the capital and the country in the face of full-scale aggression.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion in 2022, as this exhibition emphasises, every active citizen has become an integral part of the country's defence system. It was then that volunteers, activists and charitable foundations transformed into a reliable rear and invisible front, taking on the operational support of the military, humanitarian support for the civilian population and assistance in evacuation processes.

Kyiv Defenders is honoured to be represented as one of 37 civil society organisations whose activities are featured in the exhibition. Located in the lobby of the Zoloti Vorota metro station, the exhibition showcases stories about specific actions, initiatives, and our common struggle. It is a vivid confirmation that civil society is the driving force behind development and the foundation of democracy.

Participation in this initiative is an important recognition of our contribution to the common cause.
