Fundraisers Summit: new ideas and insights to support our heroes

We continue to actively work on improving our activities and are happy to learn from the valuable experience of our colleagues. Recently, our team had the honour to take part in the summit of professional fundraisers ‘Helpers of Heroes’, organised by ISAR Ednannia.

This event brought together leading experts and representatives of such institutions as the Office of the President of Ukraine, USAID Ukraine, the International Renaissance Foundation, and the European Endowment For Democracy. They shared their vision and practical recommendations on fundraising opportunities in wartime.

Andriy Shuvalov, director of the Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation, and Oleh Karpenko, deputy director of the Come Back Alive Foundation, spoke at the event. They spoke about how to raise resources to support our defenders in the tenth year of the war, when many people's resources and motivation are depleted.

We also received useful insights from Svitlana Pugach, Director of Strategic Partnerships at Tabletochki Foundation, on effective approaches to fundraising abroad, and from Lera Tatarchuk, founder of the Tvoya Opora Foundation, who revealed strategies for cooperation with businesses and engaging celebrities to support charitable initiatives.

We are sincerely grateful to the organisers and lecturers for their inspiration, valuable ideas and the opportunity to share experiences that will help us develop our volunteer activities and increase the effectiveness of our assistance. 

Sharing knowledge and experience is an invaluable resource that allows us to move forward and overcome the challenges we face.
